Beat the Winter Blues with Comfort Food!

February is here. It may be the shortest month of the year, but to me it always seems to drag on. The glow of Christmas has faded and now, winter seems like it will never leave. To combat that feeling, I like to indulge in some of my favourite meals. Nothing helps the day go by faster than getting home to your all-time favourite meals!

February also means Valentine’s Day, which, for a smaller holiday, can get expensive very quickly. To combat that, why not make your loved on a delicious and restaurant worthy dish at home? Not only do you save the expense of going out, but you can make the experience truly yours. Show your significant other that you know them to a tee by setting up a dinner filled with their favourite things. Do they love appetizers more than the main course? Whip up a spread of their top appetizer delights. Maybe they’re all about that entrée, but they ALWAYS end up eating off of your plate. Make two smaller dishes for some variety! With a bit of work, you can give them a Valentine’s Day dinner that means the world.
